💡 Before You Begin
This guide will help you install and activate Microsoft Office 2024 Standard on a Windows PC.
You'll complete the following steps:
✅ Remove any previous versions of Microsoft Office (recommended)
✅ Download and install Office 2024 Standard
✅ Activate Office using your product key
Step 1 – Remove Previous Versions of Office
Before installing Office 2024 Standard, we strongly recommend uninstalling all existing versions of Microsoft Office from your computer.
Removing older versions helps prevent installation conflicts, activation issues, and incorrect Office editions from being installed.
Step 2 – Download and Install Office 2024 Standard
Click Download Microsoft Office 2024 Standard (PC) below.
If your browser asks where to save the file, select Save.
Once the download has finished:
Open your Downloads folder.
Double-click MS_Office_Standard2024_Installer.exe.
Select your preferred language.
Choose one of the following:
64-bit (Recommended) – Best for most modern computers.
32-bit – Recommended only for compatibility with older systems or specific add-ins.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
You can choose your preferred language during installation.
⚠️ Antivirus Warning
Some third-party antivirus programs may temporarily block the installer because it is an executable (.exe) file downloaded from the internet.
This is normal behavior and does not necessarily mean the file is unsafe.
If the installer is blocked:
Temporarily disable your antivirus software.
Run the installer.
Re-enable your antivirus after the installation is complete.

Step 3 – Activate Microsoft Office
After Office has been installed:
Open Microsoft Word.
Select File → Account.
(In some Office versions, select More before Account appears.)
Select Change Product Key.
Enter your Office 2024 Standard product key.
Select Activate.
Follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
Can't Find "Change Product Key"?
If the Change Product Key option isn't available:
Select Choose another account.
Select Enter a product key instead.
Enter your product key.
Continue with the activation process.
If Activation Fails
If Office cannot be activated online, you can activate it using Microsoft's telephone activation system instead.
About the Installer
The installer provided on this page is a pre-configured installation tool.
It automatically downloads Microsoft Office directly from Microsoft's official servers and completes the installation for you.
Important
We do not host or modify the Microsoft Office installation files. All Office files are downloaded directly from Microsoft during installation.
Prefer Microsoft's Manual Installation Method?
Advanced users and IT administrators can install Office manually using Microsoft's Office Deployment Tool (ODT).
This method is recommended for organizations, custom deployments, and advanced installation scenarios.
