What Is an OEM License?
An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) license is intended for use on a single device. These licenses are commonly preinstalled on new computers or purchased for installation on a specific PC.
Once activated, an OEM license is generally linked to the first device—particularly its motherboard—and normally cannot be transferred to another computer.
